Gordon tendrá vientos maximos de 65 mph, dijo el Centro Nacional de Huracanes en su actualización de las 5 a.m. del martes. Gordon está a unas 230 millas al este sureste de la desembocadura del río Mississippi. La tormenta se mueve al oeste-noroeste a 17 millas por hora.
