Edwin Michael profesor de epidemiología de la Universidad de Sur Florida ha desarrollado diferentes modelos para poder predeterminar cuando llegaría la segunda ola de Covid-19. Aunque la información de su último modelo está aun siendo analizada Michael mostró preocupación porque dice que la gente se está comportando como si ya nada pasara y afirma que probablemente para el área de la Bahía de Tampa si las medidas de distanciamiento social siguen como hasta ahora la segunda ola nos pudiera llegar en enero del 2021 con alrededor de 10,000 casos a diario.
