Free Halloween Events Return to Sparkman Wharf

Tampa's Sparkman Wharf is hosting three free Halloween celebrations this October 2025. The series kicks off with nighttime yoga and wraps up with a movie night at 615 Channelside Drive.

October 13 combines outdoor yoga with Halloween atmosphere. From 6 to 9 p.m., Halcyon's expert instructors lead participants through poses under candlelight. A DJ plays music before "Practical Magic" shows on the screen.

Dogs steal the show October 19 from noon to 3 p.m. Dressed-up dogs and their humans show off in a fun contest. The Modern Paws starts sign-ups at noon, offering treats to everyone who joins.

The waterfront location's previous pet events attracted big crowds for group walks and themed strolls. Local pet lovers turned out in big numbers with their furry companions.

A big finale happens October 29, running for five fun-filled hours. Starting at 5 p.m., kids grab candy from stores, get their faces painted, and watch performers in the streets.

As night falls, "Casper's Halloween Special" plays first, followed by the offbeat "Beetlejuice." Between movies, a DJ keeps the crowd going with Halloween music.

Past movie nights at this spot showed favorites like "Hocus Pocus." Each evening combined movies with activities for kids.

These Halloween events align with the venue's ongoing goal of bringing people together. Earlier events mixed exercise and outdoor fun to make downtown more lively.
