Buccaneers Stars Set to Welcome Fans at New Dick’s Sporting Goods in Brandon

A giant new sports shop opens its doors in Brandon, Florida, this fall. The 100,000-square-foot Dick's House of Sport will start business on Oct. 31. NFL stars Bucky Irving and Rob Gronkowski plan to meet with fans at the grand opening.

At 459 Brandon Town Center Drive, this marks the second such store in the area. A three-day party starts with a morning ribbon-cutting, packed with giveaways and special events.

Early birds win big. The first 100 adults each day get mystery gift cards. Want a Stanley Quencher bottle? The first 300 people aged 10 or older can grab one. Young sports fans under 18 who show up early might score a free DSG soccer ball: but only the first 100 each day.

Mark your calendars: Bucky Irving shows up Nov. 1 from noon until 1:30. The next day, at the same time, Gronkowski takes his turn. Want an autograph? You'll need a wristband: grab one when the store opens. The stars will sign special store-provided cards.

This isn't just any sports store. Shoppers can test their skills on a real climbing wall, perfect their swing in golf bays with TrackMan tech, or practice their game in a cage built for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer.

The store joins its sister location at International Plaza in Tampa Bay. You'll find it nestled among other shops at the Brandon Exchange center.

The first weekend brings deals, contests, and prizes galore. Want to meet the sports stars? Show up early: staff gives out those crucial wristbands right when the doors open each day.
