Two Day Taco Festival is Coming to Pinellas Park

This is going to be foodie heaven.. If you love tacos, and let's face it, who doesn't? This event is for you. The 2026 TacoFest is gearing up to be one of the biggest food festivals in Pinellas, with over thousands expected in attendance. We'll get to vote on the best taco in town with the master chef “Battle of the Bites” taco competition.

Local food bloggers will be judging more than 20 participants in various different categories, including chicken, beef, pork and seafood. An “other” category will celebrate the most creative tacos – including dessert options, explained organizer Suzanne King.

Come hungry on day two (January 25) for the taco eating contest where the first place winner will take home a huge prize.

“Part of the appeal of coming to this event is that the vendors can bring something special – something you can’t really find at your local taqueria,” said Rene Valenzuela, owner of Rene’s Mexican Kitchen, and winner of “Best Taco in Tampa Bay” in 2024 and 2025.
