Tampa: Dapper Doughnut Is Open And Serving Doughnut Ice Cream
On June 14 a sweet new addition was welcomed into the community. Dapper Doughnut in Tampa opened their doors and their menu options included quite the specialty.
“Make any doughnut flavor into an ice cream cone or cup,” Dapper Doughnut explains. How does this happen? Well, at Dapper they simply fill a cone with vanilla ice cream, place a mini doughnut on top and then smother it with the specialty item of your choice. For example, chocolate peanut butter has these two favorites in a sauce form layered atop the doughnut and ice cream. The same holds true for Oreo, just with crumbled cookie over the doughnut.
If you are at the point of “say no more,” here is the exact location of this new Tampa doughnut shop. You will find them at 2720 E Fowler Ave Ste 235.
“Join us for an unforgettable experience as we unveil our delicious doughnuts and refreshing drinks to the Tampa community,” they said via an Instagram post announcing their opening day.
What Else Does Dapper Doughnuts in Tampa Have?
Well, of course, there are a ton of variety options for regular doughnuts, although they arguably may not be very “regular.” This portion of the menu currently has a whopping 22 different doughnut varieties. There are your standards, such as glazed, powdered sugar, and cinnamon. However, there are also more creative options, such as birthday cake, bananas foster, and funnel cake with strawberry drizzle. You can see a full list of the menu options with a photo to accompany each flavor here.
We’re still not done. Of course, you have to wash all of this down with something. Conveniently, Dapper has over 15 different coffee and teas available in hot or iced versions.
If you are not in the mood for a caffeine kick, you may be into the cucumber watermelon mint refresher. There are also strawberry, dragon fruit, and wildberry flavors in this iced option.
The two different hot chocolate items also come with two mini doughnuts on top.
If you are so blown away by your Dapper Doughnut experience and now need everyone to try it, they do offer catering and event services.
Although Tampa is the home to the first Dapper Doughnut in the state, they also have two other locations coming soon. Both of them will be in Sanford-Westwood, with an official store and a trailer (food truck) style.
This is part of the dessert shops’ expansion efforts this year. Later this year, the states of Nevada, Nebraska, Utah, and Texas will also open Dapper Doughnut locations.
